Precious metals and scarce materials can be found in end of life products/waste such as high grade PCB, computer CPUs, button batteries, X ray films and even fines from e-waste shredding operations. Besides well known precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum and palladium, also scarce materials such as indium and gallium found in flat screen panels make recovering and refining an attractive opportunity. Refining equipment and systems achieve purity levels of up to 99.99%.
